Home Management Care
Home management refers to individuals who you entrust with your daily household chores or domestic duties, such as Domestic Workers or Housekeepers
Domestic workers are ladies with or without formal training qualifications. They have a minimum of grade 10 schooling or an equivalent education certificate. We are currently implementing the SA Nanny Domestic Worker's Training Course, which will become compulsory for all Home care workers in the near future!
They perform all duties associated with domestic work which include:
- Laundry care - washing & ironing
- Washing dishes
- General cleaning & tidying of rooms
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Sweeping
- Bed making
- Polishing
Some ladies have done a cooking course & are able to prepare meals for the family. They do not have a child care qualification & are not considered as a professional child minder.
Housekeepers are not offered as a standard service, as they depend on availability of suitably qualified & experienced candidates.
