How does it work?

The Application:
The process entails you filling-in & completing an
application form, for the specific service you require. This can be done by either the online application or the downloaded form. For the best possible results, include as much details as possible as to requirements & specifications, as this will assist us in getting the best possible match for you!

The Interview:
You may decide for SA Nanny to send you the best possible candidate (in our opinion) OR you may interview suitable candidates.
Once we have confirmed suitable candidates for your position, we will contact you to confirm a date & time that is convenient to you.
Our driver will then bring the care workers to a location convenient to you for interviewing.

The Deposit:
Must be transferred into our bank account or arranged for cash to be collected by our driver, at the interviews or when services commence. You need to indicate to us which form of payment we can expect.
This
deposit serves as a credit & is non refundable. This means you have your deposit funds available for interviews, services rendered by SA Nanny or for use against a placement of a candidate.

The Service Agreement:
We need our Service Agreement initialled on each page & signed in full where necessary before interviews take place or services commence.
This form can be faxed, e-mailed or be handed to our driver at the interview. The contract does not bind you to take a candidate from SA Nanny, but rather governs the work relation between you, the "Agency" & the candidate.

The Work Arrangement Options:
As a client you have
2 options in getting a care worker from us:

1.
Hiring a care worker from the agency:

  • You do not employ or pay the care worker directly!
  • The agency will quote you a daily or monthly rate for the services of the care worker, which is based on the care worker's remuneration & the agency's admin fee
  • Payment is made to the agency that in turn will be responsible for the remuneration of the care worker & all work related legal deductions.
  • Any work related issues will be handled by the agency.

2.
A once off Placement:

  • You pay a "Finder's fee" to the agency for supplying you with a suitable candidate or candidates for private employment.
  • You need to indicate to the agency the salary you want to pay or your available budget for a particular service & we will look for suitable candidates to meet your requirements.
  • The agency provides a back-up service of 90 days from the decision to employ a candidate, ensuring peace of mind in the event that it does not work out with that particular candidate.
  • You will employ the candidate privately & will be responsible for an employment contract, the remuneration & all deductions (We will supply you with a sample contract upon request)
  • The decision to do a Placement can be done at any point of time, i.e. you can hire a candidate first & when happy with her performance decide to do the placement.

As the client you need to indicate which employment option you would like to follow & supply us with all the requirements & preferences, in order for us to make sure we get you the best possible candidate/s.

Process Duration:
There is no definite time limit in getting you the ideal candidate & can be as soon as a couple of hours to around 2 weeks.
The factors that play a part in getting the right help are:

  • Location & Living Arrangements (Live-in or Live-out options)
  • Budget
  • Qualifications
  • Experience level

We aim to make the process as simple, efficient & convenient as possible for you!

The more we know, the better we can help!
